My filmography. Seven of these are in a series while the rest are standalone.
RAGEHEART
SUMMER 2017
In pre-production.
Shooting between May-July 2017.
Locations to be shot in Queensferry, Dalmeny, the Almond Valley, and North Berwick.
Currently gathering materials and finding the budget needed to pull this off.

THE END FOR SHAWN
CHRISTMAS DAY 2013
The last in my original series of shorts.
There were seven movies in total but there should have been eight. The aborted Shawn to the Rescue might still happen one day, in fact its's necessary to fix the continuity of the story.
CURIOSITY KILLED SHAWN

SHAWN'S BIG DECISION
JULY 13TH 2013
A shot-for-shot anamorphic remake of my short from 2011. I do feel that this one looks a lot better and it makes we wish I had shot the original in 2.35:1 from the beginning.
ANOTHER DARK XMAS
MARCH 6TH 2013
A disaster.
Nothing went right during the shooting of this movie. The weather was against me. People quit on me left right and centre.
Along with the aborted Shawn to the Rescue this

SHAWN IS ON THE TRAIL
DECEMBER 1ST 2012
The last movie I made to be completely shot in a flat aspect ratio.
This movie implies that the plot to the unfinished Shawn to the Rescue still happened, and, as a result, feels a little muddled and confusing.
SHAWN4EVER
AUGUST 9TH 2012
I have mixed feelings about this one. I think that the concept is very good but the movie is too claustrophobic and contained. With more pre-production and planning this could have been significantly better.

SHAWN'S DARK XMAS
MAY 26TH 2012
By far the most difficult short movie I ever made. Shot in freezing conditions in the middle of nowhere, this was very tough all round.
If only it snowed so the movie could look remotely festive. Damn Scottish weather!
SHAWN'S FINAL COUNTDOWN
SEPTEMBER 7TH 2011
In retrospect, this should have been called "Shawn and the Countess Ravensdale", but nevermind. This was a lot of fun to shoot and I never intended to make any further shorts after this, but it got in my blood.

CURIOSITY KILLED SHAWN
JULY 26TH 2011
The original, "lost" version of this short movie. My hard drive crashed and a lot of the raw elements were gone forever.
I still like it a lot.
SHAWN'S BIG DECISION
JUNE 26TH 2011
The first standalone short I did. I quite like it, though the technical limitations of the hardware I had at the time really show. This is why I reshot it in anamorphic two years later.
A rare case of a remake being better.

SHAWN'S DELIVERY DEADLINE
JUNE 2ND 2011
I never intended to make any sequel, but it just seemed like a natural evolution. This was lots of fun to make in some lovely locations. Great memories of this short.
SHAWN'S TREASURE HUNT
APRIL 25TH 2011
My first ever attempt at filmmaking.
It's childish , but it has a lot of energy and a hopeful, positive vibe that I really enjoy.
I have nothing but good memories of making this short movie. I wish I knew to enjoy them while it all actually happened around me.
